Recently Nick & I had a 3-day weekend and couldn't decide where to go. We thought about getting on a plane to nearby Korea or Bali to go sightseeing in a new country. We pondered getting on a boat to Macau to stay in a luxurious 5-star hotel. In the end we decided that Hong Kong had both sightseeing and luxury to offer, without the hassle of travel.

Trust me, it was! :0)ReplyDelete
When you have a great dining experience going on it doesn't really matter about the music playing in the background. I expect concentrating on cakes is enough to block any sound system out. Lucky you two!ReplyDelete
We were indeed very lucky! There were quite a few kids bopping along to the music which was highly amusing!Delete
Food and music. My idea of heaven.ReplyDelete
Great blog! I'm now following. Thanks for following me! I have friends who grew up in Hong Kong. exciting place. I once spent a night there on my way to China. Wish I could get back to really take it all in.
Thanks for stopping by and becoming a follower. Hong Kong is an amazing place. It took me a little time to get used to it, but now I love it! It must've changed a lot over the years.
Yes, I don't know that they would recognize it now. I was there seven years ago for a night on our way to adopt our daughter. Flew in one night, stayed over, and flew out the next day, so I never really got to see anything. Pity.Delete
That's a shame, but maybe one day you'll be back with your daughter and then you'll have more time to look around!Delete
