Recently Nick & I had a 3-day weekend and couldn't decide where to go. We thought about getting on a plane to nearby Korea or Bali to go sightseeing in a new country. We pondered getting on a boat to Macau to stay in a luxurious 5-star hotel. In the end we decided that Hong Kong had both sightseeing and luxury to offer, without the hassle of travel.

It was definitely!!! We had to time ourselves (15 mins between each sitting) to make sure we didn't eat too much! lol!
DeleteThe food looks gorgeous... :)

It definitely was! Now a follower of your blog. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! :0)
DeleteTrust me, it was! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhen you have a great dining experience going on it doesn't really matter about the music playing in the background. I expect concentrating on cakes is enough to block any sound system out. Lucky you two!
ReplyDeleteWe were indeed very lucky! There were quite a few kids bopping along to the music which was highly amusing!
DeleteFood and music. My idea of heaven.

Hi Greg,
DeleteThanks for stopping by and becoming a follower. Hong Kong is an amazing place. It took me a little time to get used to it, but now I love it! It must've changed a lot over the years.
Yes, I don't know that they would recognize it now. I was there seven years ago for a night on our way to adopt our daughter. Flew in one night, stayed over, and flew out the next day, so I never really got to see anything. Pity.
DeleteThat's a shame, but maybe one day you'll be back with your daughter and then you'll have more time to look around!
DeleteHello, new follower from Book Blogs! I have never been to Hong Kong but it looks very interesting!
ReplyDeleteI would love a follow back at http://endlessdaysofbooks.blogspot.com/
